“GORDON MISSING IN ACTION ” Bitumen Khanacross/ Drift.
This will be a khanacross come open drift run under khanacross rules, there will be possible track change about lunch. We are going to spilt field in half. Having two(2) start lines and two (2) finish lines First half start at hay shed running up hill to top car park then second half running down finishing at hay shed so we start one from hay shed running up hill once finish we start one from top car park running down to hay shed and so forth over day one after the other getting as many runs as possible. In the case of two driver per single car second driver is required to walk up to FINISH/START line in ready for his start. If car breaks down over run that vehicle will have wait at finish until all cars have run, then locate Clerk of coarse for entry onto track then proceed back to hay shed for any running repairs. This layout should add excitement for drivers and spectators.
Peoples Choice prize for competitors will awarded to the value of $250 for first and $120 for runner up. (no cash)
Qld registered cars must have 3rd party insurance extension for the day.
Scrutiny shall begin at 7.30am at the venue, with a drivers briefing commencing at 8 40am. Documents to be presented at Bookin include a current CAMS (min L2NSJ) competition licence, current CAMS Affiliated Club membership, CTP extension for motorsport ( Qld. Registered Vehicles ) and vehicle log book (if issued). Helmets shall be worn at all times while competing in Khanacross events and shall comply with Schedule D of the General Requirements for Cars & Drivers.
A securely fitted Fire Extinguisher is mandatory in compliance with Schedule H of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Also, all forward facing glass lenses must be taped.
Competitor entry gate is about 300m toward Rocky from the main gates signage will be in place.
Main gates will be closed for the duration of the event. Spectator entry via top gate Entry fee -$10.00 family of 4, $5.00 per person.
We have had a request from CQLX to take special care of garden beds , plants , trees etc. So from this date NO CARS, TYRES, TOOL BOXES, CHAIRS, PEOPLE permitted in garden area. Keep all belongings on Bitumen or gravel area only, Or you will be ask to remove your belongings from that area and or removed from participating any further in the event no refund given.
