IROQ – APRC – ARC – QRC

IROQ – APRC – ARC – QRC

Dear Qld Rally Licence Holders

INFORMATION FROM IROQ’s CLERK OF COURSE

If you have an eligible car and the appropriate licences, you will be able to enter the APRC component of IROQ and still be able to score points in the QRC.  This is possible because the APRC, ARC and QRC itinerary covers the same route distances on each day.

When developing this part of the APRC Regs they were purposely drafted to attract eligible cars from either the ARC or from QRC.

The Supp Regs for the ARC and QRC component of the event (one set of Regs) are currently with CAMS for sign off and issue of the Permit.  Those Regs also make clear that ARC or QRC entrants can enter the APRC and still be eligible to score points and win awards in their respective National or State Championships.   The ARC and QRC Regs are due to be published on 25 April 2014.

The “Queensland” entry fee rebate may be applied for after the entry is received and accepted.

Article 4.6.4 of the APRC Supplementary Regulations indicate this option:

4.6.4 Australian Competitors (whether registered for ARC, a State Championship or a Privateer as determined by the Organisers) entered for APRC or Pacific Cup but NOT registered for the series

• With optional advertising proposed by Organisers $2,595
• Without optional advertising proposed by Organisers $3,595
Note: Competitors in the 2014 Queensland Rally Championship may apply for a $500 rebate on this entry fee if they enter APRC under this Article.
