If anyone has the time could you drop by North Rockhampton Mechanical to give a hand to prepare the Event Trailer for the Wowan Rally.
Should not take long, mostly cleaning, sorting and checking what we have got.
Start at 9:00am
Thanks in Advance

DRIFTKHANA is ON!!!
With an over whelming response to our request for interest, we will be running the Driftkhana at Gracemere Saleyards on the 23rd of April.
Entry fees are $65 for seniors, $50 juniors and $75 for come and try.
The entries can be done via the CAMS Online System or pay on the day.
Scrutineering from 7:30, Drivers briefing at 9:30, racing 9:45
The event will be a free flowing style.
Spectating will be limited to standing next to the arena behind the logs. There will be some shade provided but you will need to bring a chair. This is due to the track layout not allowing us to use the grand stand and reducing the cost by not hiring a forklift.
There will be catering on the day from Olive Catering, opening from 8am until 2pm. They have great range from fresh sandwiches, burgers, homemade pies and hot and cold drinks. If time permits we will have passenger rides at a cost of $5 each (as per CAMS MSPRA rules, closed in foot wear, non-flammable clothing, helmet)
Come along for a great days racing.
Any further questions call Tony Stennett on 0427 954 568

Pedders Suspension Rockhampton -2017 Rally of Wowan is the 2nd round of the MRF Tyres Queensland Rally Championship, MRF Tyres Qld 2WD Championship, MRF Tyres Qld Junior Driver Championship, MRF Tyres Qld Clubman Series and the MRF Tyres Qld Novice Series. There is also a multiclub event for those of you who want to rally outside of the state championship environment.
The event HQ and service area is within the Wowan Showgrounds just the same as last year, what won’t be the same are the Special Stages. Four completely new Special Stages to challenge both your vehicle and your talent. NO “Bundy” isn’t one of those challenges. I have it on good advice (from a renowned Course Checker and noted Navigator) that this year’s stages are some of the best he has seen for many years.
The Wowan Community Associations will be providing catering from Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast, check out the menu for great value and variety. Camping is available within the grounds.
Friday night meet and greet will be held at the Commercial Hotel in Wowan, with a free bus running Friday and Saturday nights.
As usual we need lots of volunteer officials to make this event a great round of the MRF Queensland Rally Championship. We need Start Control Officials, Finish Controls and Road Closure personal. If you can help please contact Kassi Jervis Email:firstname.lastname@example.org
